The students of National Security, assigned to the field of social sciences and of the general academic profile, acquire the knowledge and skills from the areas of: philosophy, history, geography, economy, knowledge about the country and law, administration, organization and management, contemporary political systems, as well as: legal rudiments of security, the politics of safety, crisis management, logistics in crisis situation, international affairs, international military relationship, international safety institutions, military safety and education for safety. Students learn to skilfully observe and interpret social phenomena, to predict the processes and occurrences characteristic of the safety environment, to analyse the solutions for safety. In the course if studying the students become skilful at social competences of teamwork, taking part in preparing projects in social sciences and the field of national and international security. The students of National Security are obliged to serve the student training after the second year of the course in the institutions of national and European security system. The students can choose from the three specializations: European Security, State Security and Administrative Crisis Management. The specialization is chosen in the course of the second semester, the specialization begins in the third semester and lasts four semesters. Upon the completion of the studies the students are granted Bachelor’s Degree.
The specialization European Security covers the knowledge in the field: the latest history of Europe, the foreign and security policy of EU, North Atlantic Treaty Organization, the conditioning of European safety, the foreign and security policy of Russia, European systems of human rights protection, economic safety of countries, security systems of particular countries of Europe, Polish foreign and security policy, Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), contemporary international conflicts, arms and disarmament control. Upon finishing this specialization, the graduate comprehends the essence and conditioning of European security, is capable to analyse the events on European, national and local scale. S/he is also able to predict the events disturbing European security, knows the working and functioning of the national and European security institutions and emergency management. The graduate also is knowledgeable in the coordination system of national activity and European institutions and organizations in the security system. The students acquire the social competence of adjusting the knowledge and skills to the changes undergoing in the international security aera,  recognizing and defining different aspects of international security. The graduate is also prepared to work in the positions of: analyst, middle professional in a state administration, especially in the institutions responsible for security matters, self- governing authorities, international or national organizations and institutions of foreign cooperation and enterprises working on foreign markets. Owing to the interdisciplinary education, the graduate should be also prepared to work in institutions not directly associated with the security issue. 
The specialization State Security includes education in the field of political safety of the modern world, the internal security system in a country, the economic and social safety, legal grounds of security system in the Polish Republic, the state defence system, public administration in the country’s security system, the state of exception in the country, armed forces of the countries neighbouring to Poland, decisive games, armed forces in the political systems of the NATO countries, state security institutions management. Upon graduating from this specialization, the student is able to comprehend the essence and conditioning of the country’s safety, they can analyse the events influencing the security state of a country locally, nationally and internationally. They can also understand the working and functioning of the national and international institutions due to their importance for safety assurance. The graduate is able to use legal regulations, adapt security and crisis management procedures in the region or nationwide and also knows the rules how to coordinate national and international institutions and security system organizations. The students gain the social competence of teamwork, to recognize, monitor and define national security issues. The graduate of this specialization is well prepared to work in the structures of government, organizations dealing with the security of the public and business entities and also crisis response teams. Owing to the interpersonal education, the graduate is also well prepared to work in the institutions unconnected directly with the aera of security.
The specialization Administrative Crisis Management embraces the knowledge in the field of: contemporary dangers and challenges for safety, the elements of security systems of the country, the functioning of the crisis management systems, integrated rescue system, recognizing and predicting local threats, organizing humanitarian aid, organizing and functioning of the crisis management centre, health protection in crisis, civil protection, negotiations in crisis, the role of the media in crisis management, people protection in EU, crisis management in EU and NATO. After graduating from the above mentioned specialization, the graduate understands the essence of the threats and is able to analyse the specific crisis situation and is able to use the proper legal rights in force as well as security procedures, crisis management locally, nationally and internationally in the current administrative activity. The graduate should comprehend the importance and functioning of the main security entities. The graduate is also knowledgeable the ways of collecting, processing and sharing conditions of crisis information. They also know advanced technology and can also take active part in the crisis team working.  The students gain the social competence to observe the safety surroundings change and to modify the structures and institutions, to recognise, monitor and define the problems connected with the different aspects  of safety and crisis management, taking part in emergency response planning in the Armed Forces of RP, the police, National Fire Service and emergency services, and especially in the crisis management divisions both at the central level and at subordinate levels, as well, that is in the safety and emergency management department of the voivodship office, City Hall, local administrative unit or municipality. The graduate will be especially well prepared to take the positions and take actions as a Municipality or Local Administrative Unit Crisis Management Coordinator. On completing pedagogical education  the graduate may obtain teaching credentials in the field of education for safety and crisis management.
The specialization Police Services includes knowledge in the field of the criminal law basics, misdemeanours, criminalistics, protection of persons, property and areas, as well as crime and terrorism fighting. After graduating from the studies, the graduate is able to predict, recognise and diagnose the threats and prevent criminogenic phenomena. The graduate also knows how to serve the duty on road, can identify the reasons and legal aspects of using the means of physical coercion and the part the police plays in international emergency response operations, in international organizations- EU, UN, OSCE. According to the agreement between Siedlce University of Natural Sciences and Humanities and the Police Headquarters, there is the theoretical constituent of the vocational training programme for the police candidates as for the specialization. The training is conducted by the criminal and administrative law experts and police officers from the criminal division, investigations division and prevention, thanks to which, the students as able to become acquainted with the practical aspects of the police work.
The launch of the specialization or studies is conditioned by enrolment of not less than 30 people.
